| To continue our ongoing efforts on Career awareness in JNV
Students, We have organized a Career Day at JNV Panghata, Shivpuri, Madhya
Pradesh on 30 August,2010. The detail report of event and selected photos
are given below. |

Purpose
1. To know career related initiatives in school, Discussion with
Principal and Teachers and suggests to make it a continous process
round the year
2. To familiar senior students (9th to 12th standards) with career importance
in life and motivate them
3. To share knowledge of different careers by alumni from different fields
4. To resolve one to one queries of students
5. To provide prospectus of different near by educational institutions |

| Final words from Coordinator... |
| We tried our best to implement our purpose
as planned. During my meeting with Principal Sir and Teachers, I have
made two suggesstion - To form career coordination team and To have a
career period once or twice in a month to make continuous affair round
the year. We have implemented first suggestion (Team details are given
above) and assured that second will be implemented there. In presentation,
I focused on why career guidance is required, discuss current trends,
what is career, need of career selection, important things to keep in
mind while selecting a career etc. We have given prospectus of Govt PG
college shivpuri, Modern Science College Gwalior, MLB College Gwalior,
Sophia Institute of medical and science Gwalior, CA-CPT Information Broucher,
MP-PMT Prospectus etc. At last we discussed how career coordination team
will work and help students to achieve their goal. This is just a start,
We will try our best to implement this in other navodaya around the country.
